We sell the following different types of drums in a variety of sizes, colors, and specifications:

  • New and reconditioned.

  • Open head and tight head.
  • Standard, overpack and salvage.
Is there a minimum quantity required for an order?

It depends on the type of container. Drums and larger containers are ordered in individual units. Smaller containers such as bottles, pails, and cans are ordered by the box or by the pallet. Please inquire for minimum quantities on specific items.

 

Will you deliver to my place of business?

Kaplan Container has several trucks that will make deliveries within Western and Central New York State. Outside of our delivery area, we can arrange for shipments via common carrier, UPS, FedEx, or other delivery services.

 

Can I special order products that you do not carry?

Yes! Kaplan Container is associated with several manufacturers. Our salespeople are trained container specialists and can help locate the best container to fit your specific requirement. Please contact us to order.

 

Where are you located?

Kaplan Container is located in Upstate New York, at 130 Despatch Drive, in East Rochester, New York.

 

What is the difference between a U.N. and a D.O.T. approved container?

The transportation of hazardous materials is regulated by the U.S. Department of Transportation As of October 1, 1996, all of the old DOT regulations were superceded by a new set of UN (United Nations) regulations. Currently, containers used for the shipment of hazardous materials are subject to UN classifications and performance standards and must be marked accordingly

How do I determine what type of container I need for a particular application?

How do we establish an account with Kaplan Container?

Your first order is generally C.O.D. To set up an account, we require three (3) commercial trade references and one (1) bank reference. Contact us today to start the process.
